(For english scroll down) Fik en pludselig indskydelse om at jeg ville forsøge at lave et paracord armbånd.
Så jo smart ud, og kan se det praktiske i dermed at have ca 2,8m faldskærmsline på håndledet, der kan bære ca 250kg.
Købte line og tilbehøret hos U.S. Overskudslager på Århusgade 25, 2100 København Ø.
Købte det endvidere ved selv at troppe op i butikken for at kunne se udvalget og spare porto.
Så ved hjælp af videoen herunder (og et par hysteriske anfald) fik jeg lavet ét.
Her nogle timer senere har jeg lavet et til en kammerat. Og bliver lettere for hver gang... Jeg har lavet i 2 farver (2 farver line). Sand og olivengrøn. Er jo smag og behag. Og er lettere at huske forskel på linerne undervejs.
Mit eget har jeg fået et lille SILVA-kompas ind i. (se fotos nederst)
Decided on trying to make a paracord bracelet. Don't know why, but can see the practical in having about 2,8 meters of paracord on ones wrist. So bought 2 types of Rothco nylon paracord (2x100ft) and followed the instructions in the video above. Watched it in small sections...back and forth...til I got it right. (have to admit it felt hopeless a few times).
Added a small SILVA compass too in my own. Shortly after I made one for a pal too. Hope it fits. Remember... it's better to make it too big, than too small.

Har et stykke tid siddet og kigget på et enkeltmands telt fra Hilleberg.
Har også et stort 3 mands telt fra Fjällräven (Akka shape r/s 3). Selvom det er et letvægts telt på kun små 3300 gram, er det lige stort nok til teltning alene.
Så fik bestilt et fint lille letvægts telt: Hilleberg AKTO på kun små 1500 gram. Har selvfølgelig set mig omkring for at se hvad brugerne derude mente, og har faktisk kun fundet ros og atter ros. Skulle være yderst stabilt, tæt og holdbart året rundt, hvis man behandler det korrekt.
Slog det straks op og fik undersøgt det på alle leder og kanter :-)
Glæder mig til at tage det i brug snart. Vil dog lige få lavet en FOD til det.
-En telt-fod er et underlag man kan købe i dyre domme, eller selv lave. Beskytter undersiden af inderteltet som ikke må beskadiges. Og efter størrelsen, kan det også give tæt underlag i forteltet.
Så skal have købt et billig pressening, og så i gang med tusch og saks. Så har jeg en billig fod, til et ellers dyrt telt.
Fandt til til ca 4000 kr efter lidt søgen på Google. Priserne lå ens i Skandinavien. Og de fleste steder kostede teltet 4300 kr.
Et lille minus jeg har opdaget:
-der er ingen ekstra teltpløkke med
-et lille reperations sæt kunne godt havde fulgt med.
-samlingsvejledningen er på på engelsk, tysk, og svensk. Men er let nok når du har fået det sat op korrekt første gang. Tager små 7 min.
Skal se om jeg kan få lavet et indlæg om en gør-det-selv-fod til telte.
Er så hulens lige til....
Men husk ALTID at undersøge jordbunden for enhver form for sten, pind, glasskår osv osv før du slår teltet op!!!

Just love outdoor equipment.
Have some time been looking at a one-man tent from Hilleberg.
I also have a large 3 man tent from Fjällräven (Akka shape r / s 3). Although it is a lightweight tent, weighing only 3300 grams, it is just a bit too big when camping alone.
So I ordered a nice little lightweight tent: Hilleberg AKTO weighing only about 1,500 grams.
Of cause I searched the web to see what other buyes thought of the product. And only saw positive criticism. It's said be extremely stable, dense and durable year round, if you treat it correctly.
Of cause I set it up right away, and had a look at it. Took a few pics for you to see :-)
Looking forward to taking it out camping soon. Wanna make a (footprint) for it first.
-A footprint is protective cover to spread out underneath the tent. Protects the underside of the inner tent which must not be damaged. And if big enough, it can also provide a waterproof floor inside the front of the tent.
So gonna make one myself, as I did for my AKKA SHAPE tent years ago. It's cheap and easy to make.
Just a good marker, a pair of scissors and a tarpaulin.
Found the tent at the price of 4000 DKR (715 USD). Used google to have a look around. Most places it did cost 4300 DKR (770 USD).
But seems the prices is pretty high for this tent.
It's a shame....
-there are no additional tent pegs
-theres no repair kit
-instructions are in english, german and swedish. But it's easy to set up, when you figure out how.

But remember ALWAYS to examine the soil for any kind of stone, sticks, broken glass etc etc before you set up the tent! Any sharp or pointy things can ruin the bottom of the tent.

Har netop lavet en. Er ganske ok med et pift af chokolade og svag smag af romcremen der er i dem. Den burde nok havde haft en skildpadde mere. Jeg brugte kun én.
Du skal bruge:
Kaffe
1-2 Toms skildpadder
Whiskey
Flødeskum
Knus 1-2 (efter smag og behag) skildpadder ned i glasset.
Tilsæt ønsket mægde whiskey
Tilsæt kaffen og rør godt rundt til skildpadden er helt opløst.
Har været lidt på rov i min granfasters have. Fik plukket et kilo ribs. Kiggede lidt på mulighederne for at bruge dem, og valget faldt på RÅSYLTEDE RIBS.
Den er ret simpel... Kan nydes til desserter eller kødretter. En gang vaniljeis med dette til er ikke helt dårligt....
Got about a kilogram of red currant berries from my great aunts garden.
Decided on trying a recipe for pickled currant berries. It's very simpel....
Can be eaten along with some kind of dessert or meat course.
Du skal bruge / You need
1 kg ribs/red currant berries
300 gram sukker / 300 grams of sugar
1,5 dl vand / 1 1/2 deciliter of water
2 tsk atamon flydende eller pulver / 2 tsp of Atamon or other food preservation. (preservative)
Bærene plukkes af stilkene og skylles efterfølgende for skidt og evt smådyr. The berries is picked from the stems, washed and any kind of dirt and tiny animals removed.
Vandet koges med sukker og atamonen - The water is boiled with the water, sugar and preservation till the sugar is all disolved.
De rene bær ligges i atamonskyllede glas. Og den KOLDE lage af vand sukker og atamon hældes over dem. Glassene lukkes til. The clean berries is put into jars that has been rinsed on the inside with boiling water and some of the preservative. The now COOLED mix of water, sugar and "atamon/preservative" is poured over the berries into the jars. Seal the glasses.

Normalt synes jeg ikke om de der sidder hjemme foran deres webcam og synger... i håb om at blive "opdaget og kendte".
Men hende her... gør det nu flot og dejligt. Som tidligere elev på Ungdomshøjskolen ved Ribe kan jeg ikke lade være at ekse fuldstændigt i benene. Glem versionen med Hr. Larsen i Danmark.......!!!!
Normally I don't care about people trying to become rich a famous by singing on webcam, being discovered aso..... but this girl really pushes some buttons. It's a old song from 1936 by the Norwegian poet Nordahl Grieg: "To the youth".
It's about peace, love and not fighting.
(Though I love the song, I DO belive that you have to fight and use force to defend freedom and help people sometimes...)
And it also bring back memmories from my time at "the youth folkhighschool at Ribe" where I live for 8 months in 1992/93.
