Pasvik).
En af de første sikre beviser for ULV i jylland One of the first pic in Denmark |
Ulve set i Dk. Teksten redigeret af mig (org foto: danmarks jægerforbund). Wolves spottet in DK these last months. I canged the headlines to: WOLVES, YES PLEASE! |
About 200 years ago, Danes killed off the last wolves in Denmark.
Like back in those days people feared them and didn't like them eating farm animals.
But now the wolves are back. They have been moving from eastern europe , through Germany, and up through JUTLAND (western part of Denmark connected to mainland europe).
A few people reported seeing wolflike animals. And after a month, someone caught one on his cellphonecam, and another a nice clear pic on a trailcam. (see trailcam above)
I think it's cool to have a animal back, that we killed 200 years ago.
BUT... a farmer have had about 20 sheep killed or serioutly injured by some huge predator.
I may be a wolf. And many people, hunters and politicians wants all wolves SHOT AND KILLED A.S.A.P.
that enters Denmark.
I'm chocked by the agressive attitude that's show by some hunters, politicians and civilians.
But of cause we can't blame a farme, who looses 20 sheep, and some wheren't even killed properly...still alive.
It properly is a wolf, though it's not proven yet.
So here's my idear:
- Shoot wolves that causes too many problems, can't kill "CLEANLY" or hurt alot of other
animals just to get one.
Almost the same way they handle bears in the U.S. and Canada. - Ask the Swedes or Norwegians who have had wolves for many many years. It seem to work most of the time there. Only the last few years, have they started hunting them, too keep the number of wolves at a certain level.
- When we reach the level of wolves in Denmark we want. The state of Denmark could make some money on selling permits for hunting a few of them. (They do in Sweden).
The ironic thing is that the state a few years back, got alot of beavers from Sweden, and placed them a few places in Denmark. People didn't mind that... The beaver had also lived here many many years ago.
A few years back, they even talked about bringing the MOOSE back to DK. They even found a few places.
But since they are affraid of them hitting cars and injuring people... they get got around to it.
A few rare specimens of the very endangered european buffalo, has been released on the danish island of BORNHOLM to the far east (south of sweden).
